The Questions we are asked most often...

"Is this an occult evening?"
No. Absolutely not. It's an entertainment -- nothing more. It is not a seance, there is no off colour material, there are no "spirit guides" summoned. Nothing like that. Our intent is to present some interesting (and sometimes just a little frightening) phenomena for you and your guests to enjoy.
"Are you really psychic?"
We make no claims of extra-sensory powers. You can make up your own mind once you've seen the show.
"Is this an event I can bring my children to?"
Not the little ones. Some of the effects we perform may be a little too intense for them. If your child is able to distinguish between a magical "performance" and reality, then by all means, bring them. But the youngest we allow is 14.
"Why is the show limited to 20 in the audience?"
In a larger group the presentation becomes more of a stage show. We want to provide an experience for you and your guests to enjoy. It is one thing to see a magic trick performed on-stage. It is quite another to have the magic happen to you. We want everyone to have an experience...not just watch a show.
We ARE able to present multiple performances in the same night to accommodate larger groups, while maintaining an intimate experience for each of your guests. Discounted multiple show rates are available.
"How long is the program?"
One hour. (Half hour packages are also available.)
"What preparations do I need to make?"
Our performer brings their own table, props and sound system. They will need a chair from you and a place to plug in the sound. There should be another two chairs beside the table for the volunteers to use. The rest of your guests should be comfortably seated around the room.
"Do my guests have to volunteer for the effects?"
No. We completely understand that some people prefer to sit and watch, while others want to climb into the thick of the action. Our performer explains this before beginning the program. There is no pressure on anyone to do anything they don't want to do. We want people to relax and have a good time.
"What is your policy toward volunteers?"
They are all treated with the utmost respect. They are not made fun of and nothing of a private nature will be revealed. Mentalism is significantly different than the standard 'magic' show in that the volunteers are a critical component of the presentation. They are, in a very real sense, the second performer.
"Can I videotape the performance?"
No.
"Are you able to work in some of my specific guests...or accommodate special requests?"
Certainly. We like to know a little about the people who are coming to the event, particularly if the event is being held to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary, etc. It allows us to customize some of our presentations in advance.
"Is this a completely 'serious' show?"
Not at all. There are some effects that are very funny. David's background is in comedy magic. But the program has been designed to have something for everyone. You'll see comedy mentalism, mind reading, demonstrations of ESP and impossible predictions -- as well as some "spooky" effects.
"How far do you travel?"
We have been across Canada and into the United States. We are a Canadian company, based in Edmonton. For performances out of the greater Edmonton area, we quote on an individual basis.
